PRIZES 

Blue (1st place), red (2nd place), and white (3rd place) ribbons will be awarded in the following categories:

  • Fastest Pie Eating (Adults)

  • Fastest Pie Eating (Kids)

RULES

  1. Individuals must be present in person at the DC State Fair to participate.  

  2. Individuals must not use their hands to eat the pie, other than to hold their pie pan.

  3. The adult category is for individuals 16 and older and the kids category is for individuals 15 and younger.

  4. This contest will be limited to 12 participants (12 for adult group and 12 for kids group).

JUDGING CRITERIA

  1. Speed (100%)

    1. Fastest pie eating without being disqualified.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Register for the pie eating contest at https://www.dcstatefair.org/2026-contests by 11:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21. Walk-up registrants may also be accepted on the day of the fair.

  2. Eat a pie the fastest in front of an audience.
