Volunteer
The DC State Fair is a free showcase of the District’s agricultural and creative talents. As a 100 percent volunteer-run organization, we rely on the dedication of our local community to sustain the Fair throughout the year by serving on our board and a number of committees. We also look for community members who are interested in serving the Fair for shorter periods, particularly at Fair sponsored events.
We welcome volunteers, board members and committee members from around the DMV area. To apply, complete DC State Fair Board and Volunteer Application below. Please reach out to us at membership@dcstatefair.org with any questions!
SHORT-TERM VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Past opportunities have included setting up and tearing down the fair, judging contests, fundraising, social media, welcoming Fair attendees and more!
If you’re part of an organization, your whole team can volunteer. Reach out to Maggie Downing at maggie@dcstatefair.org.
